Brotherly Advice

3 year old (from family room; I'm in the kitchen next door): Mommy! Come see my tractor!
Me: OK, sweetie, just a minute
3yo (10 seconds later): MOMMY! Come see my TRACTOR!
Me: OK, I'll be right there
3yo: MOMMY!! I'm callin' you for DEE LAST TIME!
6yo: Dude, she can tell US for the last time...we can't tell HER for the last time!

Word, 6yo, word.

That 6 yr old may be the smartest kid I've ever heard of.

His mama's not raisin' any fools! That was one of my favorite kid moments in some time, so I had to share.

Dude.
For a six year-old he sure has his lingo down.
And a healthy fear of the mom.

It's amazing the language they pick up at school. He has classmates with older brothers and sisters, so it trickles down. When the 3yo starts school, he'll be the one corrupting his first-born kindergarten classmates with 3rd grade slang. (and I'm going to continue to gently encourage healthy fear of the mom...it's good for them)
