I Can't See So Good, Goddammit!

We're back!
I'll post about the trip later (with a few pictures...we didn't take many). Right now, I'm mourning the loss of my beloved reading glasses, so this post will be short, because I CAN'T SEE SO GOOD! I'm fine for distance, but I can't read a damn thing without my glasses, so if I've posted a comment on any of your blogs that seems to be a complete non sequitur, you now know why. As for this post, I really don't have a damn idea what I'm typing, so if I'm hurling virtual invective and insulting you all, please accept my apologies. If I'm spreading sedition through the internet and I end up at Guantanamo (and if I misspelled Guantanamo, it's a result of near-blindness, not my spelling skills, which are MAD), please start a petition drive to demand my release.

Welcome home!

So sorry to hear about the loss of your specs. That explains the comment you left "For a good time call FranIAm!" at my blog!

Welcome back CDP!

So what are you saying? That the comment you left complimenting my daughter's beauty is suspect because you couldn't "SEE SO GOOD"...LOL!

Bah! Don't worry about it. The ability to see is overrated anyway. Just ask the President....

You could just do all over your posting in large print until you find/get new glasses.

I write all email to my mother (and other fogey) relatives in large print.

Dcup--No, that was actually what I meant to write...was that not right?

Spartacus--No, but I actually thought you looked good in the Whitesnake wig, so there you are.

Lady--good idea!

Well, you saw that hot picture of Michael Johns. His glorious form can make even the blind see. A lot of people don't know that.

Aaah, if I don't wear my contacts or have my glasses the computer is like a blurr. I'd probably type on the microwave but I'd know the shape of the refrigerator anywhere so that saves me.

i have a pair of glasses that never leave the computer desk. i also have large font and a 24" monitor.

aging sucks as does losing one's glasses

Beck--yes, that was what restored my eyesight; I don't even need the silly glasses anymore.

IB--thanks!

Suze--me too, I could lose all sensory input and could still find food.

Dcap--yes, it does, but it's better than the alternative.

Wow. You type pretty well for a blind person. You should take up piano... give Ray Charles a run for his money.

You could always try goodwill.

Oh dear. I know the feeling.

I mean to say-

OH DEAR!! I KNOW THE FEELING!!

IF and Wyld--Ha ha, funnymen. I too laughed when I was in my thirties. All I have to say to both of you is this: It's coming, my friends, and sooner than you think. Mwah ha ha!

Fran--See, I knew that YOU would understand. Ray Charles and Goodwill indeed. Hmpf.

Welcome back Aunt Dahlia!

I had Lasik which resolved all of my eyesight issues. However, my doc told me I may still need reading glasses one day and that I'm getting really close to the age when that can happen. I don't think that was very nice of him.
