but why? it's so cool a game!

my MIL gave my daughter a doll who cried. had a battery in it. THe thing SCREAMED like a colicky baby.

One week, that's how long it lasted before I found a screwdriver and took out the batter, the sound box, and any associated parts.

wy do you hate on the mose trap? i used to love that game (of course it was given to me by someone who didn't care for my parents but still....)

I think our author is talking about how easy it is to lose the fiddly bits, and one lost fiddly bit can make the game unplayable.

Like other readers, I had the game when I was a kid and it was several weeks of fun. I don't recall if I tired of it naturally or lost a fiddly bit.
